As we do every year, in preparation for our annual PCI security audit, E-xact Systems Administrators have been active making improvements to provide our customers with a safer and more robust processing service. This coming weekend, April 2, 2011 we are moving the last of our loyal, long time customers from our older legacy data center to our new, state of the art data center. Some customers using the older COM and Java components (circa 2006 or older) may see some intermittent processing interruptions from 1 to 5 minutes around 9:00PM Eastern this Saturday, April 2. After that, all of our customers, including our older legacy components are getting the royal treatment.
As with hardware, these “Legacy” products also undergo refreshing and will often be retired and no longer supported - this is also the plan for these components. We encourage customers using the COM and Java components to checkout our new API or perhaps even examine our Hosted Checkout payment page solution that relieves merchants from handling credit card data. Email our Support team (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you’d like some help with making that decision or if you need some technical assistance in implementing the new interface.
Here's the link to information in our Knowledge Base on the API API and other ways to process transactions.
